How to apply
Please fill in the online application form on our website by 31 March 2021 at the latest.
After receiving your completed Application Form, the programme coordinator will inform you about the current state of the application process and ask you to send the following documents:
1. Your Curriculum Vitae (CV) (in English)
2. A short letter of motivation
3. A document proving your enrolment in a college or university or your recent graduation (for example a confirmation letter/form issued by your university, or copies of relevant diplomas and transcripts. A scan or photo of a document is sufficient. It may be submitted in the language in which it was originally issued. If we need a translation, we will ask for it.)
4. Proof of your knowledge of English (if you are not a native speaker). We require at least the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. You will be asked to send us either a copy of a language exam certificate or an official confirmation that you have passed a university course in English or some other course in English at the required level. In case you are studying or have studied an academic programme taught entirely in English, a document proving your enrolment or graduation will be considered as proof of your knowledge of English.
Selected participants will be notified. Preliminarily admitted students will be asked to confirm their attendance and pay the programme fee as soon as possible.
Decision on admission:
Decisions on admission will be made on a rolling basis according to the rounds of review described below.
Applications will be reviewed continuously during the application period. Applications received before 28 February 2021, will be reviewed by 1 March 2021, at the latest. Applications received in the second round before 31 March 2021 will be reviewed by 1 April 2021.
Do not hesitate to apply immediately! Earlier applications have a better chance of admission. The later the review, the fewer places there are to offer. The programme coordinator can inform you about exact dates and deadlines and also about the current number of remaining places.
Students who are not successful in earlier rounds of review still have a chance to be admitted. Their applications will be automatically reviewed again in the next rounds, together with any newly received applications.
Course Cancellation Policy:
If you wish to cancel your participation in the Online Spring University, 90% of your application fee will be refunded if written notification of your intention to cancel is received before the application deadline of 31 March 2021. After that date, if you need to cancel your confirmed participation, please email katerina.kuklikova@fsv.cuni.cz with the reason for your cancellation. In this case, 50% of your application fee can be refunded. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used. Registration for the Online Spring University cannot be transferred to another student, but it may be accepted for another, future course for the same student.
